How does the expanding global markets effect the value of fine art, collector cars, wine, silver, jewelry and other collectibles owned by clients? What factors influence the value of objects? During the past several years, fine art and collectible markets have been in a continuous state of evolution expanding into new countries and to new purchasers across the globe. Due to the increased number of international buyers, tastes and desires have broadened. As a result, the value of these objects has fluctuated tremendously over the past decade due to changes in consumer demand. Many personal collectors remain unaware of the value changes and as a result, their personal assets are not adequately protected nor managed.\n \nThis presentation will provide an updated understanding on the state of the art and collectible markets as well as the importance of planning for client’s valuable tangible assets.\n \n \n \nColleen Boyle Bio\n     \nColleen has more than 20 years of experience in the art and financial world. She has valuated art and antiques for corporations, museums and private collectors throughout the United States.  Ms. Boyle earned a Diploma in French Fine and Decorative Arts at Christie’s in Paris, a Masters degree in Art History from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The College of William & Mary. Colleen is a member of the International Society of Appraisers and is USPAP compliant. She has provided legal analysis for court cases involving art valuation and identification. \n  \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nColleen regularly publishes articles in local, regional and on-line press, as well as conducts lectures and Continuing Education classes on diverse topics pertinent to art and antiques.\n \nLearn more about Colleen in the video below.\n \n\n \n \n
