During this presentation, a family lawyer (Daniel Gray) and a trusts and estates lawyer (Alvi Aggarwal) will share their differing perspectives on pre- and postmarital agreements. Topics will include the value of pre- and postmarital agreements, common pitfalls in preparation, legal effects, and more.\n ------\n\nAbout the Speakers:\n   \n \n   \n\n \n \n \nAlvi Aggarwal, Partner, Yates Campbell & Hoeg LLP\n \nAlvi Aggarwal is a partner at Yates Campbell & Hoeg LLP, where she advises individuals and families on estate planning and estate and trust administration matters. She also prepares and deals with premarital agreements. Alvi holds an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law, a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, and a B.A. from Georgetown University. She is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Florida.\n \nDaniel L. Gray, Founding Partner, Cooper Ginsberg Gray, PLLC \n \nDan Gray has practiced family law for 22 years and is a founding member of Cooper Ginsberg Gray, PLLC, a Fairfax family law practice.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from the George Mason University School of Law.  He is immediate past chair of the Virginia State Bar’s Family Law Section, a member of the Virginia Family Law Coalition, past chair of the Fairfax Bar Association Family Law Section, and current Secretary of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Virginia Chapter. He has served on the faculty of the mandatory VSB Professionalism Course, currently serves on the faculty of the VSB Law School Professionalism Course, and serves as an arbitrator for the VSB Fee Dispute Resolution Program. He has lectured extensively on family law, evidence, and ethics for the Virginia State Bar, VBA, VTLA, VACLE, local Virginia bar associations, the District of Columbia Bar and the Maryland Bar.  He is admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.\n  \nRegistration is now closed.\n
