Duffy, Managing Director, U.S. National Tax, Andersen Tax, on May 21, 2024, to present, "Taxing Times: Navigating the Tax Policy Landscape."  In this presentation, we will cover the current tax policy landscape.  We'll discuss recent tax legislation, the looming Tax Cuts & Jobs Act expirations, and the post-election landscape.\n \nRegister today for this relevent and educational program!\n \n \n \nThis program has been approved for 1.0 CFP credit.\n \n \n \n\n \nMary Duffy is a Managing Director and Head of Andersen’s U.S. National Tax practice. She is also a member of Andersen’s U.S. Board of Directors.\n \nMary advises clients on tax policy, legislative and regulatory changes, accounting methods, accounting issues arising in transactions, and tax implications of private aircraft. Mary is a frequent speaker for Tax Executive Institute, Practicing Law Institute, and other events.\n \nMary has extensive experience practicing before the IRS National Office, handling accounting method change and ruling requests, as well as handling issues in an IRS examination. Mary works with individuals and businesses of all sizes and structures and has experience in many industries, including retail, manufacturing, energy, sports, entertainment, health, pharmaceutical, and technology.\n \nImmediately prior to joining Andersen, Mary served as one of two Legislation Tax Accountants with the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) from 2011 to 2013.
